EduAction: Volunteer Opportunities

OurMisson

Shaping stronger futures—one relationship at a time

At EduAction, we believe real change starts with the adults around a child. That’s why we work hand-in-hand with schools, care teams, and youth services to create emotionally intelligent environments through training, support, and therapeutic insight.

Our mission is simple:   To help professionals feel more confident, connected, and equipped to support the children and young people they work with—especially those facing emotional, behavioural, or relational challenges.

Whether you're an educator, keyworker, team leader, or practitioner, you're in the right place. Let’s build safer, more nurturing systems—together.

🛠️ How We Work

Relational. Reflective. Rooted in real-world impact.

At EduAction, we believe the key to transforming outcomes for children and young people lies in how the adults around them are supported. That’s why our work goes beyond training—we partner with schools, care teams, and services to embed emotionally intelligent practice into everyday culture.

We don’t deliver “tick-box” training. Instead, we prioritise depth, dialogue, and practical tools that translate into meaningful change.

Here’s how we approach everything we do:

  • Relational First   We centre connection—both in how we teach, and in what we teach. Our sessions explore the emotional needs behind behaviour, helping adults respond with curiosity, not control.
  • Rooted in the Real World   We use scenarios, case reflections, and discussion—not just slides. Whether you're in a classroom, residential home, or community hub, we make sure our work fits your daily context.
  • Therapeutic & Trauma-Informed   Our work draws from attachment theory, neuroscience, and trauma-informed principles. We support staff to understand emotional dysregulation, repair relational ruptures, and create safer spaces for growth.
  • Collaborative, Not Prescriptive   We listen to the needs of each setting and co-create training that fits. This may mean adapting our sessions around staff dynamics, cultural identity, or specific incidents within the setting.
  • Sustainable Support   We don’t disappear after the training day. EduAction offers ongoing consultation, reflective spaces, and implementation guidance to help your team stay confident and connected long after delivery.

Because when adults feel equipped, young people feel safer—and that changes everything.
